Nodirbek Abdusattorov – the uzbek chess player, one of the youngest world grandmasters ever (2017).

  • Abdusattorov Nodirbek Fazliddin Ugli was born on September 18, 2004 in Tashkent.
  • In 2011-2022 he studied at the secondary school №152, in Yashnobod district, Tashkent.
  • Currently Nodirbek has been studying at the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent for the international management.
  • Nodirbek has started playing chess since 2008. His first chess teacher was Ravshan Shukurov. Under his guidance, Nodirbek was studying chess in 2009-2011.
  • From January 2012 to 2016, Nodirbek was studying chess with the deceased international grandmaster Dmitry Qayumov.
  • In 2012, Nodirbek was awarded the FIDE Master title.
  • In September 2016 Abdusattorov became an International Chess Master.
  • In 2017 Abdusattorov was awarded the Grandmaster title, the world’s second youngest Grandmaster at that time.
  • Since 2017, Abdusattorov has started practicing chess with the international Grandmaster Saidali Yuldashev.
  • In 2017 - the Asian Chess Federation in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, awarded the title “Best Young Chess Player in Asia” to Nodirbek Abdusattorov for his victories in 2017.
  • At the World Youth U-16 Chess Olympiad held in Konya, Turkey, in November 2018, assigned to first board, Nodirbek became the first Olympic champion of the national team in Uzbek chess history.
  • Since 2021, Abdusattorov has started practicing chess with the international Grandmaster Jahongir Vohidov.
  • At the World Rapid Chess Championship held in Warsaw, Poland, in December 2021, Abdusattorov defeated the world's leading chess players, including five-time world champion Magnus Carlsen from Norway, and became the youngest world champion in rapid chess in history.
  • In August 2022, Nodirbek participated in the 44th World Chess Olympiad in Chennai, India, playing at first board and getting a silver medal on his board he became the Olympic champion of the team.
  • Since October 2022, the international Grandmaster has started practicing chess with the 17th world champion, international Grandmaster Rustam Kasymdzhanov.
  • In January 2023, Abdusattorov took the honorable second place in the world's most prestigious “TATA STEEL CHESS” International Chess Tournament in Wijk-aan-Zee, the Netherlands.
The fifth youngest grandmaster in chess history
On October 29, 2017, at the age of 13 years 1 month and 11 days, Abdusattorov became a chess grandmaster. As of January 2021, Nodirbek Abdusattorov was the fifth youngest grandmaster in chess history.
