Today, 1 December, in the 6th round of the XTX Markets London Chess Classic, Nodirbek Abdusattorov will face American player Sam Shankland.
In the 5th round of the tournament, which has a prize fund of 50,000 pounds sterling, Abdusattorov defeated Greek player Nikolas Theodorou.
Following this victory, Nodirbek became the sole leader, increasing his advantage to 4.5 points. French player Alireza Firouzja, with 3.5 points, holds second place.
The tournament will continue until 5 December.
